    • !family records in possession of Charles V. Hugo. LeRoy adopted the middle
      name of Everett upon induction into the US Army during the WWII. Recieved
      WWII Victory Medal, Purple heart(for the loss of both legs), Bronze Star and
      others. Died from kidney failure in the advanced stages of bone cancer
      at the age of 71. At the time he lost his legs he was told he would probably
      live only until the age 40, so he received a bonus 30 years.
      !Death in a Sacramento hospital. Burial next to Gladys in Northglen, Colorado,
      Highland Park Cemetery.
